Spill or Leak Procedures
Releases/Spills: Spilled material may become very slippery when wet. Sweep us area immediately and place waste in disposal container. Flush area with water to remove remaining residue. If still slippery, repeat process until slipperiness is gone.
Neutralizing Chemicals: Water
Waste Disposal Methods: No special methods required. Disposal must be made in accordance with applicable governmental regulations.
Special Protection Information
Ventilation: Engineering controls are not usually needed if good industrial hygiene and safety practices are routinely followed.
Protective Equipment:
Respiratory: None needed. Dusty operations may require dust masks or other applicable controls.
Eye: Use splash proof goggles for operations where eye and face contact can occur.
Gloves: Impervious gloves will minimize skin contact.
Other Equipment: None Needed
Special Precautions
Maintain good housekeeping to control accumulation of dust. Dust may be explosive if mixed with air in critical proportions and in the presence of a source of ignition.
Do not use iron, copper, or aluminum containers or equipment to avoid product degradation and equipment corrosion. Before eating, drinking or smoking, wash face and hands thoroughly with soap and water.
Handling and Storage Requirements
Transport and store material under dry conditions to prevent caking caused by water absorption from the atmosphere. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight to prevent polymer chain breakage.
